Telephonics’ ARSS enhances the effectiveness of forward reconnaissance patrols by establishing a perimeter grid of man portable ground surveillance radar. This perimeter grid of electronic surveillance can be installed and supported by forward patrols.

Data are linked back to a tactical operations site providing the local patrols with “extended eyes and ears”, thus increasing their own local security perimeter detection line.
