Formed in early 2000, Quickstrike Defence and Aerospace (QDA) commenced service provision and consultancy work in the Defence Underwater Warfare areas, specializing in niche Minewarfare training, Mine Countermeasures equipment sales and business development. and for a number of multi national corporations. The aerospace arm of the business commenced in 2003 with the establishment of an association with Telephonics Corporation (Farmingdale, New York). Primarily the Aerospace business is concerned with Maritime Surveillance, ATC systems and IFF, leveraging off the world class capabilities and products of Telephonics Corporation. QDA has recently joined the Defence sponsored Rapid Development Prototyping and Evaluation(RPDE) Program as an Associate, participating in the provision of solutions and personnel to the RPDE tasks and task teams respectively.

QDA is the QLD regional co-coordinator for the RPDE Program and is also a member of the Defence Industry Security Program (DISP). At the heart of QDA is a dedicated, highly motivated and qualified workforce, whose core skills and experience form the basis of a capability to deliver tailored solutions to customer requirements, drawing as it does on the combined experience of individuals with backgrounds in the armed services, government defence agencies and related industries.
